Decorah Vikings boys bowling team beats Tripoli as Decorah's Tyler Thompson rolls a perfect game

Tyler Thompson from Decorah bowled a perfect 300 game Friday night at Oneota Lanes, giving Decorah a solid advantage over Tripoli on the scoreboard. The Vikings finished the meet with 3,146 points against Tripoli's 3,029 points.
"What a thrill to watch Tyler Thompson bowl a perfect game" said Head Coach Keith Bruening. "He broke the school record for high game and high series. He adds, "All the kids are starting to click, we will keep working hard all next week."
In addition to Thompson's two-game total of 566, Decorah was led by Luke Iverson, who bowled a 420. Other Viking scores were Brendan Hunter with a 399, Karter Einck with a 388, Brody Anfinson with a 378 and Mason Hill with a 261.
The Decorah Viking boys are now 6 and 1 on the season. The Vikings will be bowling Friday at Forest City.
