Decorah boys bowling squad moves to 3-0 on the young season

The Decorah Viking boys bowling squad notched another victory on Friday, beating Oelwein in Oelwein to improve to three wins and no losses.

The Vikings beat the Huskies by 260 points, 2,818 to 2,558.  Two juniors led the Vikings--Emmitt Stemper, who rolled a 427, and Brendan Hunter, who rolled a 401.  Senior captain Tyler Thompson rolled a 398, while Tyler Shedinger had a 350, Jackson Rollings had a 346 and Luke Iverson rolled a 340.

"You have to be happy with our scores this early in the season," said head coach Keith Bruening.

The Viking boys will be at home at 4:00 p.m. Thursday to take on Denver.
