The first eight runners to cross the finish line at the Northeast Iowa Conference junior varsity boys meet Tuesday in Cresco were wearing Viking uniforms, which pretty much tells you that Decorah won the meet.

Bennett Schutte was the individual JV champion, crossing the finish line in 18:24.2.  He was followed by seven more Viking runners--August Witt was second with a time of 18:37.9; Adrian Huang finished third with a time of 19:30.1; Jake Magner was fourth with a time of 19:45.7; Tate Schissel finished fifth with a time of 19:50.0; Drew Berns finished sixth with a time of 19:51.4; Dane Cole finished seventh with a time of 19:54.7; and Landan Folkedahl finished eighth with a time of 20:02.6.

Decorah's dominance didn't stop there, as six other runners finished in the top 20.  Bradyn Hook finished 11th with a time of 20:23.5; Tyler Irwin was 13th with a time of 20:36.1; James Groux finished 15th with a time of 20:49.4; David Olson finished 18th with a time of 20:58.2; Darin Rude finished 19th with a time of 20:59.7; and Benson Newhouse finished 20th with a time of 20:59.9
