17 in a row! Decorah Viking girls cross country team wins another Northeast Iowa Conference title.

The streak has now reached 17.

The Decorah Viking girls cross country team once again has won a Northeast Iowa Conference cross country title.

The Vikings ran the course in Cresco on Tuesday and finished with 45 points, ahead of Waverly-Shell Rock by 15 points.

Decorah's Rebecca Anderson was the third place finisher, with a time of 19:35.6.  Sam See finished 8th for the Vikings, crossing the finish line in 21:59.5.  Leila Johnson also finished in the top 10 with a time of 21:59.6--good for 10th place.

The other four Viking runners all finished in the top 25.  Madison Tollefson was 12th with a time of 22:10.6; Taryn Sanderman was 13th with a time of 22:11.7; Abby Halverson finished 18th with a time of 22:34.6; and Annalise Skrade finished 21st with a time of 22:45.9.
