Decorah Viking boys cross country varsity team wins the Northeast Iowa Championship

All seven of the Decorah Viking boys cross country varsity runners finished in the top 20 spots at the Northeast Iowa Conference Meet in Cresco on Tuesday, giving the Vikings another NEIC Championship title.

Brady Hogan crossed the finish line first, ending with a time of 17:08.5.  He was followed by Decorah's Noah Lovelace, who ran the race in 17:47.4.  Arlo Hayes finished 5th for the Vikings, with a time of 17:51.8.  Hogan Smith had a 7th place finish, with a time of 18:00.5.  Larson Shockey finished 10th, with a time of 18:07.7; Izaak Eichinger finished 11th with a time of 18:10.5; and Cade Olson finished 17th, with a time of 18:41.1.

Decorah ended with a team score of 25 points, well ahead of second place Waverly-Shell Rock, which had 52 points.
