The first seven runners to cross the finish line at the South Winn JV boys cross country meet were Vikings

In Calmar on Tuesday afternoon, 17 of the top 20 finishers in the boys junior varsity cross country meet were Decorah runners.

Conditions were good for running--and the results showed it.  Decorah's Cade Olson finished the race in 18:25.20, taking first place.  He was followed by August Witt (18:27.60); Jake Magner (19:03.70); Adrian Huang (19:23.10); Tate Schissel (19:28.10); Bradyn Hook (19:28.80); and Dane Cole (19:30.10).

After two Waukon runners crossed the finish line, Decorah's Landon Folkedahl, Drew Berns, Tyler Irwin, David Olson, Darin Rude, James Groux, Alex Zweibohmer, Benson Newhouse, Luke Walter and Max Wilson were the next runners in.
