Silvercrest Golf Club hosts its club championships

29 golfers took part in the Silvercrest Men's Club Championship. Participants played 18 holes of stroke play to determine final 9-hole pairings. In total, 27 holes were played with scratch score and handicap scores used to determine outcome.
Todd Neal and Jake Hovden were tied with the lead after the completion of 27 holes in the men's division. Neal sank a birdie putt on the first hole of the playoff to take the championship.
Todd Neal shot a 37, 39, 35==111; Jake Hovden shot a 35, 39, 37==111; Scott Helms shot a 36, 38, 38==112 and Drake Shelton shot a 38, 39, 37==113.
Kolin Krauskopf had the lowest handicapped score, a 62, for 18 holes. Brady Stille was the junior champion with a 99 for 18 holes.
The Women's Club Championship used a different format. Ten women played in an 18-hole stroke event and seven other women played in a 9-hole event.
Stacey Anderson finished first in the 18-hole competition, shooting an 88, while Alyce Schaller was second with a 90. Elaine Gipp won the 9-hole competition, shooting a 52, while Patti Graves was second with a 53.
