Decorah Viking boys cross country team wins easily at Waukon Tuesday

The Decorah Viking boys cross country team had four of the top five finishes Tuesday at the Waukon Invitational.

Decorah's Brady Hogan crossed the finish line first with a time of 17:05.0.  After New Hampton's Dylan Usher finished second, three Vikings crossed the finish line next--Izaak Eichinger in a time of 18:14.9, Arlo Hayes in a time of 18:15.3 and Noah Lovelace in a time of 18:15.3.

The other three Viking starters also had good finish times.  Hogan Smith was 9th with a time of 18:29.8, Bennett Schutte was 16th with a time of 18:49.9 abd Larsson Shockey was 18th with a time of 18:56.1.

Decorah finished the meet with 22 points, far ahead of second place North Fayette/Valley, which had 75 points.  Crestwood finished fourth, followed by Waukon, New Hampton, Starmont, Clayton Ridge and MFL/MarMac.
