Boys bowling team falls just short to West Delaware

The Decorah Viking boys bowling squad just missed pulling an upset at Manchester West Delaware on Friday afternoon.  The Vikes fell short by just 103 pins, losing 2,858 to 2,755.

Senior Keagan Einck led the Vikings with a 415, while sophomore Brendan Hunter had a 385 and Jackson Rollins rolled a 381.  Breydon Johns went 9 of 10 in the Baker Round.

"West Delaware is one of the premier bowling programs in the state...but we have to learn to adjust," said head coach Keith Bruening.

The Decorah junior varsity beat West Delaware, 2,414 to 2,130.  Decorah was led by Luke Iverson, who rolled a 393.
