The Decorah Viking girls bowling squad lost to a very good West Delaware team in Manchester on Friday afternoon, 2,626 to 2,220.

The Vikings were led by Lexie Hauber with a 390, Katherine Bruening with a 292 and Audrey Casterton with a 289.

"We had trouble adjusting to the lane conditions," said head coach Keith Bruening.

The Viking junior varsity beat West Delaware, however, winning 2,130 to 1,973.  Annika Lensch (282), Paige Lange (255) and Lilly Iverson led the JV.

"We will take a few days off for Christmas and then regroup for the second half of the season," said Bruening.
