The Decorah Viking girls bowling team continues to have success on the lanes.
The Vikings traveled to West Union on Friday to take on the North Fayette/Valley Hawks and came away with a 2,218 to 1,749 victory.
Decorah was led by Katherine Bruening, who had a 309, and by Lexi Hauber, who rolled a 299, and Audrey Casterton,. who had a 290.
The Viking junior varsity also won, with Kaitlyn Christensen rolling a 266, Grace Gerleman having a 244 and freshman Rebecca Bruening rolling a 231.
The Vikings are now 2-0 on the season. They will have their home opener Thursday at 4:00 p.m. against Charles City.
