The Decorah Viking freshman football team gave up two fourth quarter scores to Caledonia on Thursday night in Decorah, dropping a 20-14 decision.

Decorah's Will Einck scored on a 14-yard catch of a pass from Brady Stille in the second quarter and Jaden Baker added a 2-point conversion run to make it 8-6.  Baker then scored on a 2-yard run in the third quarter, but the 2-point conversion run failed, making the score 14-6.  Caledonia, however, scored twice in the fourth quarter to give them the victory.

Baker finished with 10 carries for 68 yards and one touchdown and one two-point conversion.

Said Head Coach Scott Pierce, "We played a pretty good game, despite being a little short-handed. We fought hard for four quarters, which was fun to watch."

The freshmen will travel to Manchester to face West Delaware in a 5:00 p.m. game Friday.
