Ryan Schneberger allowed just six hits over seven innings as the Decorah Viking baseball team shut out the MFL/Mar-Mac Bulldogs at home Monday night, 5-0.

Schneberger was impressive as he struck out eight batters.  Decorah got all the offense it needed when it scored five times in the second inning, with Cael Luzum driving in two of the runs.

Said Head Coach Adam Riley, "Another great start from Ryan Schneberger, backed by a solid defensive effort from the team.  We are managing at bats well and had a nice second inning in which we strung some hits together."

Decorah is now 14-15 on the season.  The Vikings will travel to Waterloo Tuesday to take on Waterloo West.
