Home field advantage was in force for the Decorah Viking softball team on Saturday at the Decorah Softball Tournament. Decorah won all three of its games in the seven-team field.
The Vikings began with a 5-3 victory over Riceville; beat Elkader Central 13-1; then finished by beating Waukon in the championship game, 8-5.
Waukon and Lansing Kee High finished 2-1 in the tournament, with Turkey Valley, Riceville and Elkader Central going 1-2 and Osage losing both of its games.
Decorah is now 15-8 on the season. The Vikings will travel to Calmar Tuesday to take on South Winneshiek, then will face NEIC-leading Charles City on Thursday in Charles City.
