Viking softball team improves to .500 with a 17-4 drubbing of Waukon

The Decorah Viking softball team had its offense in high gear at Waukon on Monday night.  The Vikings scored 17 runs to put away Waukon, 17-4.

The victory evened Decorah's season record at 4 wins and 4 losses.  The Vikings are 3-4 in the NEIC, tied for third place.

Decorah will host Waverly-Shell Rock on Wednesday, with the first game of the doubleheader starting at 5:30 p.m.  Waverly is 1-8 on the season, 1-3 in the NEIC.
