"Decorah sealed their second victory of the year with a solid team effort despite cool temperatures and a times, a gale force wind. Making use of the Vikes team depth, Decorah was able to mix up the lineup from their victory the previous day and take the bite out of the Huskies. Oelwein is a scrappy bunch, so I could not be happier with the way the girls rose to the occasion. After the first two meets of the season, the lineup is beginning to fall into place prior to taking on perennial powers Waterloo Columbus and Clinton on Saturday in the top gun tourney at Byrnes Park in Waterloo," said head coach Larry Berland.
