The Decorah boys track and field team had 8 first place finishes on Tuesday night after competing at the NEIC indoor meet at Wartburg.
Jason Adam won the 55 meter dash in 6.88 and the 200 meter dash in 24.33. Solomon Thompson was 7th in the 55 meter dash in 7.33 and Nick Einck also finished 7th in the 200 meter dash in 25.92.
In the 400 meter dash Gabe Vilardo finished in 3rd place in 58.12 and Drew Snyder finished in 4th place in 59.00.
Brady Hogan finished in 2nd place in the 800 meter run as he finished in 2:15.74 and Hogan Smith finished in 7th place in 2:25.42.
In the 1600 meter run Matthew Franzen finished in 2nd place in 4:58.72 and Bennett Schutte finished in 8th place in 5:22.65.
In the 3200 meter run Gus Hayes won with his time of 10:17.48 and Brady Hogan finished in 2nd place with a time of 10:32.65.
Andrew Magner won the 55 meter hurdles with his time of 8.11 and James Groux finished in 5th place in 9.19.
In the 4 x 200 meter relay the team of Andrew Magner, Cameron DeLong, Haywood Stowe, and Breydon Johnson finished in 2nd place in 1:38.59.
It was a win for the 4 x 400 meter relay team of Kyle Renken, Matthew Franzen, Jason Adam, and Cameron DeLong with their time of 3:42.58.
The 4 x 800 meter relay team of Izaak Eichinger, August Witt, Hogan Smith, and Zach Fretheim finished in 4th place in 9:38.33.
The distance medley team of Tucker Young, Seth Shindelar, Sam Robinson, and Gus Hayes won with a time of 3:58.84.
In field events, Keaton Solberg won the high jump with his jump of 6 feet, 2 inches and James Groux tied for 4th place with his jump of 5 feet, 8 inches. Haywood Stowe jumped 18 feet, 3.75 inches in the long jump, putting him in 7th place. Gabe Vilardo jumped 18 feet, 1.75 inches, good for 9th place. Logan Halverson won the shot put with his throw of 50 feet, 2 inches and Sam Wilson finished 4th with his throw of 42 feet, 10 inches.
