Girls basketball seasons ends

The Decorah girls basketball team has finished their season and the Northeast Iowa Conference has released final conference stats.

Junior guard Kylah Quandahl played in 4 games, scored 13 field goals, 4--three point goals, 5 free throws, and had an average of 8.75.

Sophomore post player Emma Nierengarten played in 12 games this season and made 32 field goals out of 69 attempts, for a field goal percentage of 46.38. Nierengarten's free throw percentage is 57.14% for the season, including 12 free throws made out of 21 attempts. Nierengarten had 15 blocks putting her average at 1.25 for the season.

Junior forward and guard Ambria Pipho played 12 games this season. Pipho scored 29 field goals, 5--three point goals, 32 free throws, and had an average of 7.92.
Pipho had 22 offensive rebounds, 55 defensive rebounds, for a total of 77 and giving her an average of 6.42. Pipho had 26 steals for an average of 2.17.

Senior forward Skylar Malone played in 12 games and blocked 4 shots putting her average at .33 for the season. Malone is the lone senior on the team this year.

In conference play, the girls won 3 games and lost 9 games. Their overall standing is 5-18. Their offensive average was 31.7 and the defensive average was 49.9.
