The Decorah boys basketball team played two games over the weekend. The first game was at home against the Charles City Comets.

Final score was Decorah 61-51. Leading scorer for the Vikings was Charlie Robinson with 19 points and Logan Halverson with 11 points.

"It was a great team win tonight. It's a good way to send our five seniors out with a "w" on our home floor! We can't be satisfied though as we have to continue to be humble and hungry! We still need to work on executing some late game situations, but proud of how our guys stayed the course and finished the game," commented head coach Jonathan Carlson.

Decorah boys basketball played against Prairie du Chien on Saturday and lost 55-58. The Vikings were trailing at halftime 19-27 and the 4th quarter was the only time they outscored Prairie du Chien 24-13. Lead scorers for the Vikings were Charlie Robinson with 17 points and Logan Halverson with 15 points.

The boys have a week to practice and then will travel to Webster City on Monday, February 18th, to take on the host Webster City Bobcats.  Webster City is 15-6 overall on the season and has gone 12-3 since the start of 2019.
