The Decorah Viking boys basketball team took out their frustrations on North Fayette/Valley on Saturday night.  One night after getting edged by New Hampton, the Vikings took an early lead at home on Saturday and never looked back, winning 58-26.

The Vikings led 11-6 after the first quarter, but then poured it on in the second quarter, outscoring North Fayette/Valley 22-2 to take a 33-8 lead into the locker room at halftime.

Decorah didn't let up in the third quarter, either, outscoring the Hawks 19-9 to take a 52-17 lead, then coasting through the fourth quarter as nine Vikings got a chance to play and eight had at least one basket for the game.

Decorah is now 6-9 overall and will return to NEIC action Tuesday, when they host Cresco Crestwood.
