Decorah boys bowling team beats Tripoli by more than 400 pins

The Decorah boys bowling team is now 3-4 in the conference after beating Tripoli at home on Friday. Final score was Decorah 2,956 to Tripoli 2,533.

Breydon Johnson scored a 222, and a 225. Tyler Thompson rolled a 214, and a 233. Keagen Einck had a 224, and 152. Karter Einck had a 177, and a 195. Luke Iverson had a 200, and a 145.

"High score for the boys for the year. The boys are getting better, I challenged them tonight and they came through Big-Time! I'm very, very proud of the kids. Johnson was 10-10 in the Baker Games-outstanding! We're getting better every day. Our record does not show how capable we are. I'm extremely happy with our progress," praised head coach Keith Bruening.

The jv boys won 2,404 to 1,894. Their record is 7-1. Brendan Hunter led the team with a 395 and Nolan Jostand had 333.

On Friday the team will travel to Forest City who is 3-3 in their conference.
