Alli Jenicke has been named Director of Athletic Performance and assistant Legends Center Director at Luther College.
Jenicke will officially begin her duties at Luther on January 21st. She replaces Jeff Jones, who resigned after accepting the position of head athletic performance director for football at Appalachian State University in North Carolina.
A 2014 graduate of Kansas State University, Jenicke rejoins the Luther athletic department after serving as the director of athletic performance for baseball and assistant athletic performance coach for softball, cross country and football at Morehead State University in Kentucky since September of 2018.
Prior to her stint at Morehead State University, she served as the assistant director of athletic performance and Legends Center Director from 2016 to 2018 at Luther. Prior to joining the Luther staff in 2016, she served as the head strength and conditioning coach at William Penn University from 2015 to 2016 while earning her master's degree in Business Leadership. She also served as the strength and conditioning coach at Pella High School at the same time.
"I am honored to be chosen to continue building the electric environment that Coach Jones created surrounding the weight room at Luther College," commented Jenicke.
