The Decorah girls bowling team is now 2-0 on the season after a win against North Fayette Valley on Friday.
"We were happy with the win, a little disappointed in our score," said head coach Keith Bruening. He added, "We were hoping for a 2,150--2,200. We will get back to work and correct our mistakes. We have to shoot better in the baker rounds and we will."
Maddie Putnam bowled a 148 and a 176; Lexi Hauber had a 123 and a 152; Moriah Grinna bowled a 134 and a 138; Katherine Bruening had a 129 and a 138; and Ann Meirick had a 139 and a 119.
The baker game scores were 134, 114, 150, 127, and 110. Final scores were Decorah 2,031, North Fayette Valley 1,466.
The girls will travel to Oelwein on Friday for their next tournament.
