Decorah girls jv cross country team finishes in 3rd at Luther All-American

The Decorah girls jv cross country team had a great first meet at the Luther All-American on Saturday. The girls finished in 3rd place overall with 22 teams consisting of 386 girls competing.

Sophomore Taryn Sanderman finished in the top ten as she crossed the line in 22:23.5, good for 9th place. The next Viking was sophomore Rachel Bower who finished in 25th place in 23:12.9. Senior Gracia Taylor was 26th with her time of 23:13.3. Freshmen Brielle Buresh was 28th with a time of 23:18.4. Morgan Brauer was the 5th Viking to cross the finish line with her time of 23:53.0, good for 43rd place overall.
