Kailer McCabe hit a two-run home run for the Decorah Viking baseball team at home Friday night, but that was all the offense the Vikings could generate as they dropped a 4-2 decision to the New Hampton Chickasaws.

Decorah is now 6-2 in the NEIC--one game in back of New Hampton.  Decorah will travel to Waukon on Tuesday.

The Viking JV had better results Friday night.  They beat New Hampton 8-4, with Ryan Schneberger the winning pitcher.
