Viking boys track & Field team is in 17th place at the State Track & Field Meet

The Decorah Viking boys track & field team had 6 points as of 5:00 Friday afternoon.  Andy Lillegraven was still competing in the shot put and the Distance Medley team was getting ready to run at 5:40 p.m.

In action earlier Friday, Jackson Varney finished 19th in the boys long jump with a jump of 19 feet 11.5 inches, while Andrew Magner finished 18th in the 110 meter hurdles  with a time of 15.79 seconds.

Andy Lillegraven finished 19th in the shot put with his throw of 47 feet, 10 inches.

The distance medley relay team of Beirgen Gunhus-Dansdill, Austin Myli, Jackson Varney, and Andrew Kephart placed 3rd with their time of 3:34.29.
