One of the regional rounds of the NCAA Division III Softball Tournament will be held in Decorah this weekend.
The NCAA has announced Luther College (35-8) will host College of St. Benedict, Lake Forest College and Cornell College. Luther will be the No. 2 seed, College of St. Benedict the No. 1 seed, Lake Forest the No. 3 seed and Cornell the No. 4 seed.

Luther is making its 19th appearance in the national tournament, its tenth consecutive and 11th in the last 12 years. The Norse are coached by Renae Hartl who has compiled a career record of 549-177 and is in the midst of her 17th season. This year, she led Luther to an Iowa Conference regular season record of 10-6 and a third consecutive Iowa Conference Tournament championship, the seventh for the Norse in the past nine years.
The team advancing from each regional will compete in the super regional round May 18-19. The finals will be held May 24-29, at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. All rounds will use a double-elimination format.
The winner of the weekend tournament will advance to Sectionals next weekend.
