Decorah Girls basketball team ends season with 10 wins and 13 losses

The Decorah Viking girls basketball team's season has come to an end after a loss to Waverly on Saturday night during Regional playoffs.

Waverly Shell-Rock had a big lead at halftime 36-9, but the Vikings rallied and scored 27 points in the second half. The 27 points weren't enough, as Waverly Shell-Rock won with a final score of 56-36.

Leading scorers for the Vikings were Kayla Quandahl with ten points, Maddie McEnaney with eight points and Allie Hafner with seven points, including two three-point baskets.

The Vikings finish their season 5-7 in the Northeast Iowa Conference and 10-13 overall.
