Decorah Girls Basketball Team Win the First Round of Regional Playoffs

The Decorah girls basketball team came away with a big win in their first game of regionals playoffs.

The Vikings hosted Charles City and had a tremendous lead at halftime 28-6. Decorah won the game with a final score of 57-32.

Three seniors had double digit scores. Lindsey McEnaney led the Vikings with 18 points, including one three-point basket. Maddie McEnaney scored 14 points, including one three-point basket and Allie Hafner had ten points, including two three-point baskets.

The girls basketball team will continue regional play on Saturday against Waverly Shell-Rock  at Waverly at 7:00 p.m.
