The Decorah Viking boys basketball team improved to 3-2 in the Northeast Iowa Conference with a 76-51 victory at home Tuesday night against the Crestwood Cadets.
The Vikings and Cadets were tied at 21 after the first quarter, but Decorah outscored Crestwood 20-11 in the second quarter and never trailed after that.
Jonah Johnson was the leading scorer for Decorah, with 24 points. Patrick Bockman added 13 points for the Vikings, as eight other Vikings also got on the scoreboard.
Decorah is now 5-6 overall. It will host Charles City on Friday night.
