JV boys cross country team finishes in first place at Luther's All-American

The Decorah boys JV cross country team showed up to run on Saturday. Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, the boys finished in first place with 64 points. Rochester Century took second place with 71 points. Champlin Park had 134 points, good for third place.

The first Viking to cross the finish line was senior Luke Stock, clocking in at 19.04, good for sixth place. Junior Lars Marquardt was in eighth place with a time of 19.07. Senior Austin Myli finished in ninth place with a time of 19.07.

Next up the Vikings will travel to Cedar Falls on Thursday.
