The Decorah volleyball team had a great night against Waukon on Tuesday.

The final scores were 22-25, 25-21, 25-20,25-17.

Hannah Feuerhelm, Lizzie Hartman, and Leah Weis each had 8 kill shots. Ambria Pipho had 22 set assists while Grace Syverson had 19 succesful serves and 8 defense digs.

Head coach Gina Holthaus said, "This was a great win for us, we had some ups and some downs, but continued to battle throughout the match. For the most part we didn't pass too poorly, although Waukon has a couple of really tough servers that caused problems for us at times. When our passing was good, obviously it was easier for our setter to move the ball around.  Communication seems to still be a concern for us, although tonight was better.  We know the pace is going to pick up on Thursday with Oelwein!"

The Vikings overall standings are 4-3 and will host Oelwein this Thursday.
