Viking baseball team loses to Cedar Falls in extra innings

The Decorah Vikings and Cedar Falls Tigers played a back-and-forth game in Decorah on Monday night.  The game was tied at 5-5 after seven innings, but Cedar Falls pushed across three runs to take an 8-5 victory.

The loss drops Decorah to 20-8 overall.  The Vikings will travel to Waterloo West on Tuesday before beginning postseason play Friday night at Waverly against Charles City.
