Softball season comes to an end for Decorah Vikings

The Vikings played against Western Dubuque in the Quarterfinals on Thursday. The game was tied 4-4 in the top of the 5th inning and Western Dubuque scored three runs to break the tie. Final score was Western Dubuque 7, Decorah 4.

Decorah finished fifth in the conference 5-13 and 9-19 overall. Charles City placed first in the conference, 16-2. Crestwood is second, 15-3, Waverly Shell-Rock is third, 12-6, New Hampton is fourth, 11-7, Waukon is sixth, 3-15 and Oelwein finished seventh, 1-17.
