Another good performance by the DHS girls golf team

The Decorah Viking girls golf team defeated Turkey Valley 184-213 at the Jackson Heights Golf Course (par 36) on Tuesday.

Molly McDonough and Nicole Ransom shot career low 45s to earn co-medalist honors.  Destyn Bonerlli was runner-up medalist with a 46.  Abby Meirick shot a 48; Annelise Keune had a 49; Sara Brownrigg carded a 51; Danielle Fulsaas shot a 55; Ashley Peterson had a 61; and Jessica Franzen shot a 79.

Head coach Scott Pierce said afterwards that in the past two nights, Lainey Erion, Molly McDonough, Destyn Bonelli, and Nicole Ransom have all shot a career low on one night or the other.  We talked before the meet about someone stepping up to fill in for the gal who was out and several did!"

The Decorah girls will host Oelwein at Oneota Golf and Country Club at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, then will travel to South Winneshiek on Friday.
