Luther softball team continues to win

The #7 nationally-ranked Luther College softball team has completed its spring training trip to Orlando, Florida with 7-3 record at the tournament and an 11-3 record overall.

On Friday Abby Christian hit a home run and drove in a total of four runs as Luther defeated Middleburry 9-1 in five innings.  In Friday's second game Luther posted a 14-0 victory over Grove City College of Pennsylvania in five innings, with Kelsey Kittleson hitting a two-run home run in the fourth inning and Kim Lambert striking out seven of the 16 batters she faced en route to her four shut out of the year.

The Norse will be back in action on campus on Wednesday at they host UW-Stout in a 3:00 p.m. game.
