| 2007 Decorah
High School graduates Sam Jewell and Bethany Van Sloten have
been presented letters as members of the Luther College
women’s basketball team.
 Jewell.
the daughter of Bobby and Paula Jewell of Decorah, was also
presented the Most Inspirational Award and shared this honor
with teammate and former Decorah prep Ashley TeKippe.
 Van
Sloten, the daughter of Doug and Kendra Van Sloten of
Decorah, was one of seven freshmen that were presented their
first letter.
The Luther women's basketball team recorded its 21st
consecutive winning season in 2007-2008, finishing in second
place in the Iowa Conference with a record of 12-4. |
