Girls golf team 4th at NEIC Meet
After contending with rainy and cool conditions all spring, the Decorah High School girls golf team had gorgeous weather to play the Northeast Iowa Conference Meet in Waukon on Monday.  The Vikings shot a 419 and finished fourth 15 strokes behind winner Crestwood.

Decorah's Annelise Keune won All-Conference honors by shooting a 102, good for a tie for ninth place.  Rylee Rollins shot a 103; Hailey Spilde had a 105; Elizabeth Sherin shot a 109; Kayla Hemesath and Kelsey Wyckoff both shot 120s.

Head Coach Scott Pierce said, "We played pretty well on a gorgeous spring day.  We had a couple tough holes but we were in the pack where we had hoped to compete among the top four teams.  We will also see Crestwood and Oelwein at our district meet but I feel that we can post four good scores and have a shot at one of the top two spots."

The Vikings travel to Jackson Junction Tuesday to take on Turkey Valley.
