Boys soccer team wins three at Waverly
The Decorah High School boys soccer team won three games at the Waverly Invitational Tournament on Saturday.

The Vikings registered a 2-0 victory over the top-ranked boys soccer team in 2A, Glenwood.  Decorah then shut out Clear Lake 6-0; and closed with a 1-0 win in a 4-3 penalty kick overtime shootout against Spencer.

Jackson Stalberger and Gavin Wicks had goals in the Glenwood win.  Brock Arend had three goals; and Brandon Felde, Jordan Houdek and Marty Cornelius added goals in the Clear Lake game.  Marty Cornelius, Gavin Wicks, Jackson Stalberger and Jordan Houdek scored in the overtime shootout against Spencer, with Josh Martin making a diving save to close out the game.
