Girls golf team edged by Crestwood
The Decorah High School girls golf team lost a two-stroke decision to Crestwood High School on Tuesday.  Decorah dropped a 207 to 209 decision to fall to 3-4 on the year.

Head Coach Scott Pierce said, "We are obviously competitive with all of our conference opponents and at the same time, we need to eliminate the one bad hole to be clearly better than another team."

Decorah was led by the meet's runner-up medalist, Rylee Rollins, who shot a 50.  Hailey Spilde had a 52, Elizabeth Sherin shot a  53, Annelise Keune had a 54, Sara Brownrigg had a 58 and Kayla Hemesath shot a 60. 

Decorah's junior varsity squad lost to Crestwood's JV 232 to 276.

The varsity squad's next meet is the NEIC meet Monday at Waukon.  Tuesday Decorah travels to Turkey Valley and Friday Decorah hosts Winona Senior High at Oneota Country Club.
