Boys golf team gets in 27 holes
The weather was favorable for a change on Tuesday, so the Decorah High School boys golf team got in 27 holes of competition.

Playing at Charles City, Decorah first faced Waukon and Charles City in a 9 hole triangular, winning the meet 173 to 179 for Charles City and 194 for Waukon.  Andrew Peter was the medalist with a 39.

The Vikings then played Charles City in an 18 hole dual meet.  Decorah won again, beating Charles City 347 to 363.  Andrew Peter was the medalist again, shooting a 78.  Drew Olinger had an 86, Bryan Lowery an 89, Dusty Steffen shot a 94, Gunnar Rollins had a 97 and Aaron Boutte shot a 99.

Decorah's junior varsity squad played a 9 hole triangular with Charles City and Waukon.  Charles City won with a 193, Decorah shot a 201 and Waukon had a 213.  Decorah's Adam Suckow was co-medalist with a 47.
