| The Luther
College men's tennis team has won its conference record 28th
league championship.
The Norse beat Coe College 5-1 in the title match after
notching a 5-0 semifinal win over Cornell College.
Luther entered the tournament as the top seed after posting
a perfect 8-0 record against IIAC opponents during the
regular season.
With the win, Luther earns
the Iowa Conference's automatic berth in the NCAA III
Tournament. The Norse will be making their second
consecutive appearance in the national tournament and third
in school history. |
