High School girls tennis team took a 9-0 decision from
Oelwein on Tuesday, April 22nd. The Vikings were able
to rearrange their lineup to give a variety of girls varsity
experience in an effort to strengthen what is already
outstanding depth on the squad.
Singles:
1. Logan Thompson won 10-2
2. Karissa Shindelar won 10-1
3. Angela Krieger won 10-2
4. Tori Dahlen won 10-6
5. Amber Peterson won 10-5
6. Caroline Krammen won 10-2
Doubles
1. Siri Hedstrom and Laura Reutlinger won 10-1
2. Tori Dahlen and Kristen Malanaphy won 10-6
3. Catherine Moeller and Celeste Holtz won 10-3
The girls tennis team will host Osage on Friday and will
travel to an all day Camanche tournament on Saturday.
Said head coach Larry Berland, "After this weekend we will
have a good feel for where we are as a team, having then
played three of the top teams in 1A." |
