Viking boys
golf team improves to 3-0 |
The Decorah
Viking boys golf team defeated New Hampton at SilverCrest on
Monday 164 to 187 to improve to 3-0 in dual meet
competition. Decorah's Andrew Peter was medalist for
the meet with an even par 36. Runner-up medalist was
Decorah's Aaron Boutte with a 41. Other scores for Decorah
were Bryan Lowery 43, Dusty Steffen 44, Mike Cary 49, and
Drew Olinger 53.
The Junior Varsity/Reserve was also victorious 186 to 202.
Co-Medalists for the JV were NIck Harless and Gunnar Rollins
with 44. Other scores were Blake Holthaus 48, ADam
Suckow 50, Drew Kelly 51, and Jason Olson 58.
The JJV also played with New Hampton winning 223 to 226.
Medalist was New Hampton's Caleb Ronsonke with 48.
Scores from Decorah were Ben Gardner 54, Erik Sand 54,
Dalton Frana 57, Nathan Lee 61, Andrew Ransom 65 and Devin
Bruening 65.
Decorah will compete against Crestwood High School in Cresco
at 3:00 p.m. this coming Friday. |
