| A Decorah 8th
grade wrestler did well at a recent national wrestling
competition. Zachary Henning earned individual Bronze
All-American status for his efforts at the AAU Middle School
Duals hosted by Simpson College.
Zachary competed at the 105 pound weight class for one of
four Iowa AAU teams. He competed in five dual meets on
Saturday against teams from North Carolina, Illinois,
Kansas, Michigan and Montana and three more duals on Sunday
against teams from North Carolina, South Dakota, and
Michigan. Zachary’s record for the tournament was 6-2
with 4 falls and one major decision. |
