College baseball team scored 14 runs on 16 hits Wednesday
night and defeated Carleton College 14-1 in the Minneapolis
Metrodome. Hitting stars for the evening included Jake
Waddle and Steve Beckman, who each drove in three runs.
The victory gives the Norse an overall record of 5-3.
They will begin Iowa Conference action Friday when they host
Wartburg College in a three-game series. Game one will
be played at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 28th, while Saturday's
double header will begin at 1:00 p.m. |
