Luther
baseball team splits doubleheader |
The Luther
College baseball team split a late-night doubleheader with
Macalester College at the Metrodome in Minneapolis on
Tuesday. The doubleheader ended at 2:00 a.m. Wednesday
after Macalester won game one 5-4 and Luther posted a 10-2
victory in game two.
In game one, a three-run fourth inning broke a 2-2 tie and
gave the victory to Macalester. In game two, the Norse
exploded for 10 runs on 11 hits, scoring four runs in the
third and three in both the fourth and sixth innings.
Luther will continue to play in the
Metrodome Wednesday, taking on Carleton College at a more
reasonable 5:00 p.m. |
