Luther women's soccer coach resigns
After two years as head coach of the Luther College women’s soccer program, Kim Fair has announced her resignation, but will fulfill her contractual duties until the end of the school year.

During her two years, Fair led the Norse to an overall record of 21-14-4, 11-3-2 in Iowa Conference action.  During the 2009 campaign, Luther captured the Iowa Conference championship, posting a record of 6-1-1, its first title since 2004 and the fourth in school history.

Director of Athletics Joe Thompson said the college will conduct a national search for a new coach. “I want to express my appreciation for the leadership and service Kim provided to the soccer program,” stated Thompson. “The soccer team achieved a high level of success during Kim's tenure and we wish Kim all the best in the future.”
