The Luther
College wrestling team--ranked #13 in Division
III--increased its dual meet record to 10-7 on Tuesday night
by beating the University of Dubuque 28-14.
The Norse were led by Jayson Swanson at 125 pounds and Kevin
Bokoski at 141 pounds, who posted major decisions; by Jason
Pyle at 149 pounds, who recorded a fall at 6:54; and by
Lance Serbousek at 157 pounds, who was credited with a
technical fall (21-3) at 7:00.
Pyle's victory gives him a season record of 20-4, marking
the third consecutive year he has posted at least 20 wins,
and improving his career mark to 66-22.
The Norse will wrap up their dual meet schedule at home at
7:00 p.m. Thursday, when they will host Simpson College.
