Viking boys basketball team improved to 8-8 on the season
with a 60-37 victory over Waukon in Decorah Tuesday night.
The Vikings used a strong third quarter
to take the win. Leading 27-22 at halftime, the
Vikings came out after the break and outscored Waukon 20-6.
That gave them a 47-28 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Steve Drost led the Vikings with 24
points, while Isaiah Brown had 13 points.
Decorah will travel to Oelwein on
Friday night to take on the 2-12 Huskies. |
